Analysing a film trailer: Dawn of the planet apes

The stars/director/producers are not given to us during the film trailer because it is the same director from the previous film and the stars may not be that important. There is no voice over. The music seems calm at first and then builds to a climax. The narrative is told by sentences, transitions and fade to blacks. The editing gets quicker towards the end as it builds to a climax. The trailer is montage edited. we mainly hear shouting from the characters because is helps the exposition. The film would already have an established fanbase from the previous films that were released. Establishing shots are used because it sets the scene.
